Meetings

The Custer Gallatin Working Group meets quarterly, usually on the second Wednesday in March, June, September and December, and may be attended by anyone.   Meeting locations vary, but have been most often held in Bozeman or Livingston, Montana.   We try to provide a virtual attendance option such as Zoom, a link for which is available on request.

Meeting agendas normally include discussion about new or ongoing forest management projects, planning and policy.  We invite comments or input from non-members pertaining to agenda items, and we strive to keep the discussion relevant, timely and informative.

Our meetings have been enhanced greatly by the regular attendance and participation of the US Forest Service, Custer Gallatin Administration and Staff, the Montana Department of Natural Resources, and Congressional staff.  Through their presentations and courteous attention to the Working Group’s request for information, we have made great progress in defining our direction and developing an effective strategy for our operations.  We are grateful for their time and assistance.

If you would like to receive news or announcements concerning CGWG meetings or activities, you may request email notifications by contacting Earl Atwood at eatwood@beartooth.org.
